Turning complexity into experiences people understand.

I’m a hands-on Product and UX Design leader who turns complex problems into intuitive, scalable digital products. I work from discovery and early concepts through prototypes, design systems, AI-enabled experiences, and production delivery—while helping design teams do their best work.

Case studies

Selected product design work

Complex workflows, AI-enabled products, enterprise tools, and systems thinking—shown through concise case studies and deeper walkthroughs.

A note on confidentiality. My client work is under NDA, so these case studies are rebuilt with synthetic data. They mirror real problems I have solved.

  • Approval queue listing five claims sorted by AI confidence, lowest first

    Claims Adjuster Copilot

B2B2C client app  Single sign-on for client companies and their employees

An AI workflow for insurance claims: every claim runs the same seven steps. The AI does the routine checks and the math, and a licensed adjuster approves every payout. Six screens and a clickable prototype.

  • Portal home page with three actions: request a new seat, request AI credits, and check status, plus the inactive seat policy

    Enterprise Tool Governance

Internal enterprise tool  An IT app employees use inside the company

Streamline tool licensing with AI. An agentic system reviews requests, manages seat allocation, and tracks status—all within admin-controlled limits. Stronger governance, clearer communication.

    AI Insurance Quote

B2C, direct to customer  Individuals and businesses buy insurance online

A price from one sentence, not five pages. An AI-first way to buy auto, home, life and business insurance: the application fills itself, and the customer decides. Ten screens and a prototype you can quote yourself.

Designing with AI

From making screens to shaping outcomes

AI can generate screens quickly. The harder part is deciding what should be automated, what needs human judgment, and how users stay informed and in control. I use AI throughout the design process, but I treat judgment, trust, and accountability as design responsibilities.

AI workflow or agentic AI: how I choose

How I work with AI

  • Research synthesisInterviews, surveys and usage data turned into themes faster.
  • Working prototypesInteractive builds instead of static mockups.
  • Guardrails firstLimits, an audit trail and a way out, before polish.

Selected work

Impact I can point to

A few examples of how design changed the experience—and the business outcome behind it.

These projects are confidential. The work is presented and shared in person.

+196% Community Housing ServicesSelf-service policy portal for 700 housing providers

The challenge

Renewals ran on Excel and email: a 110-question manual application, repeated across 700 housing providers, with every question routed through the client team.

What I designed

After discovery and user research, I mapped the legacy process into an intuitive, real-time web experience with dashboard submission and delegated user management, and contributed reusable components to the enterprise design system.

The result

Delivered on time and on budget. Account revenue grew 196% ($0.49M to $1.43M), client risk went down, and providers could self-serve without client-team support.

2,900+ Insurance Company  E&O and EPLIDigital enrollment for 18,300 agents

The challenge

Agents enrolled in and renewed their E&O and EPLI policies through paperwork and manual steps.

What I designed

A fully digital experience to enroll, renew, and self-service, plus colleague-assisted servicing (agent impersonation), using single sign-on and secure card payments in one frictionless flow.

The result

2,900+ policies bound on day one (~16% of agents) and 8,000+ within three days, with an estimated $1M in added annual commission revenue across a 50-year Insurance Company partnership.

120+ Northstar Life SciencesGlobal Clinical Trials insurance quote application

The challenge

A new quote application had to serve clinical trials in 120+ countries, where the questions and pages a client sees depend on the markets they select.

What I designed

I ran discovery and whiteboarding with product and business partners, then designed a guided multi-step flow with dynamic, country-driven questions and conditional pages that adapt to each client's selected markets.

Experience

From visual craft to product leadership.

My career started in visual and brand design and evolved into UX, product design, and design leadership. Today, I combine hands-on product craft with team leadership—working across research, complex workflows, prototyping, design systems, accessibility, AI-enabled experiences, and engineering delivery.

About

Visual craft. Product thinking. Leadership that stays hands-on.

I started in visual and brand design, where I learned how clarity, hierarchy, and storytelling shape an experience. That foundation eventually grew into UX and product design—researching complex problems, mapping workflows, prototyping solutions, building scalable systems, and working closely with engineering to bring them to life.

Today, I lead design while staying close to the work. I help teams set direction and raise the quality bar, but I still enjoy getting into the details—challenging a workflow, refining an interaction, building a prototype, or finding the simpler path through a complicated problem.
